Global medical technology organisation

The employer is a global medical technology organization with approximately 50,000 employees. The location in Eindhoven makes radiopharmaceutical medicines intended for diagnostic or radiotherapeutic applications. They are used, for example, to detect Alzheimer’s or treat cancer. Due to the expansion of the work, the vacancy of Maintenance Reliability Engineer is created.

The position
As a Maintenance Reliability Engineer, you advise on the strategy for preventive and predictive maintenance of production machines, installations (e.g. HVAC), laboratory equipment (e.g. autoclaves) and scanning device setups (e.g. DaT scan). You use available or self-created data to make improvement proposals and support their implementation. You also analyse more complex production disruptions and offer technical solutions. The maintenance team consists of 9 people, and you report to the Maintenance Leader.

Important tasks and responsibilities

  • Making calculations using process and production data with the aim of increasing the reliability and safety of production processes.
  • Drawing up and keeping up-to-date risk assessments.
  • Monitoring process data and adjusting the performance of production systems by predicting and implementing preventive actions.
  • Building test setups and initiating improvements.
  • Provide input to the maintenance team and assist with troubleshooting.

 Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in, for example, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, installation technology, mechatronics or an Mbo-4 diploma with approximately 10 years of work experience.
  • Knowledge of PLC controls, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Rood Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Affinity with data analysis and solving technical problems.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and willingness to learn Dutch (mandatory lessons).
  • Currently living in the Eindhoven region. Relocation or visa support is not offered.
